&lt;p>It has been a while since our last update here, partially thanks to how busy we have been shipping everyone their Tanmatsu. All pre-orders have been fulfilled and Tanmatsu is now in stock on our webshop.&lt;/p>

&lt;p>Software! While the hardware of Tanmatsu is very capable the current software situation doesn&amp;rsquo;t allow users to take full advantage of that unless they are provicient in embedded C development. &lt;p>After a long wait the first results are finally here: Tanmatsu has passed the EMC and RED tests successfully! This means production will start soon. We expect that pre-orders will start shipping in three to four weeks.&lt;/p>

So this time let&amp;rsquo;s focus on the main question people have asked the past weeks: when will production start?&lt;/p>

&lt;p>The past months we have worked on preparing documents and firmware for the EMC and RED tests that need to be done for CE compliance. &lt;p>A lot of progress has been made on all the project disciplines, this month we have progress update on the hard- and software as well as documentation and production.&lt;/p>
&lt;h3 id="software">Software&lt;/h3>
&lt;p>The past weeks lots of progress has been made on the launcher firmware. The launcher firmware will allow you to start installed apps from a special partition on the flash chip. &lt;p>A lot has happened since our last blog post in January and we have got a lot of good news to share!&lt;/p>
&lt;p>The project is still progressing according to schedule and the first parts of Tanmatsu have arrived.&lt;/p>
&lt;h3 id="displays">Displays&lt;/h3>
&lt;p>We have received a shipment of &lt;a href="/docs/tanmatsu/hardware/specifications/#display">LH397K-IC01&lt;/a> displays for the first batch of Tanmatsu boards. &lt;h2 id="project-progress">Project progress&lt;/h2>
&lt;p>The final prototypes are currently being manufactured over at JLCPCB. Meanwhile we are working on the launcher firmware which will allow users to install and run firmware binaries like apps. The launcher menu shows a list of installed apps (firmwares). When an app is selected the ESP32-P4 will reboot into the selected app.&lt;/p></description></item></channel></rss>
